My name is Preetika Mehra and I am passionate to work with people who are struggling with addictions and want a way out.
I received my Masters in Social Work in 2005 at the University of British Columbia. My clinical practice helps clients who do not know how to stop the cycle of addiction and are afraid to let go. I have extensive training in insight-orientated psychotherapy which helps clients to address the root causes of their harmful and destructive behaviour. I am grateful to have the chance to work with you and build upon your strengths and resilience towards a life with hope and new beginnings.
On a personal note, I have a full life with my husband and two active and curious children whom are my greatest teachers. I'm a lover of trees, walking in the sunlight, connecting with others and finding the joy of life in the here and now.
